For over 30 years, this elite group of European lawyers had been setting the standard in their field. With an outstanding reputation and long history of success, they were entering a pivotal phase of evolution.

 

Challenge

The team recognised they were at a crossroads. How could they honour their legacy while evolving for the future? With shifting dynamics, the core question became: how do we stay exceptional—and united—as we transition to a new era of leadership?

 

Solution

Working in close partnership with Polaris Consultants over 12 months, the team embarked on a high-performance journey grounded in our Extraordinary Teams framework.


We began with in-depth observations and diagnostics to understand where the team truly stood. Through a series of interventions, including a strengths-based offsite, we helped the group build a shared sense of direction, identity and belonging.


Key steps included:

• Observations to surface opportunities and risks

• A future-focused offsite to craft a bold team vision

• Identifying and addressing limiting beliefs

• Co-creating new team values and a mission statement

• Establishing internal and external accountability, including quarterly facilitated sessions and a dedicated working group.

Impact
